Environmental Champions

Callum Patterson, Senior Recreational Assistant

Callum has been a key member of the Leisure Centre team since 2018 and is hugely knowledgeable about environmental issues and local wildlife. He has recently been awarded a Certificate of Completion for Environmental Management, Culture and Awareness by Right Directions (a CIMSPA Education Partner). His main focus as Environmental Champion is on reducing energy and water usage and improving our recycling and waste management processes.

 

Clare Flanagan, Marketing Manager

Clare has been a supporter of Cricklade Leisure Centre since joining the campaign to keep us open in 2007. After a career in marketing and social work, she joined CLC as a receptionist in October 2023 and has now taken on responsibility for our marketing and communications.  Clare is a passionate advocate for the environment. She is a member of the Marine Conservation Society, Woodland Trust and Bumblebee Conservation Trust and recently joined Surfers Against Sewage to march through London calling for the Government to “Restore Nature Now”. Clare will be championing the natural environment around Cricklade Leisure Centre and encouraging sustainable travel.
