TRUSTEE UPDATES REGARDING LEISURE CENTRE DEVELOPMENT
5th Customer Update
The Cricklade and District Community Association
23.3.20
Dear Valued Customer,
It is with sadness that the Directors have agreed to follow the UK government COVID-19 management advice to close Cricklade Leisure centre, the centre was closed on Friday the 20th March for an un-specified period. These are difficult times and we feel it important we follow advice given by the authorities on public health so we will remain closed while advised too. We would like to thank you for your custom and loyalty to us and look forward to welcoming you back in the future once we are told it is safe to open again.
Obviously, this leaves us unable to offer you leisure facilities and so we would like to point out that you may wish to cancel your Standing Orders for membership. We understand that for many people the coming period will pose financial difficulties and therefore need to do so. We have also received messages from people who wish to continue their standing orders to support the centre through these unprecedented times and for that we are truly grateful, our bank account will remain open to existing payments. For members who keep their membership current there will be a freeze on membership prices until at least Jan 2022.
For updates on the centre we will be maintaining our social media platforms and our website. If you have any urgent queries please email Kate@crickladeleisure.co.uk
We apologise for any inconvenience the closure causes and we look forward to seeing you again once we can open again.
Regards John Simmons
