Depak has been a part of the Leisure Centre committee since its inception in 2007 and one of the original Trustees.
He is a regular user of the gym and plays badminton, and on occasion he uses the pool. He is a firm believer in supporting the local community and applying his skills to improving local services which would otherwise not be provided by the council. This is for the benefit of the community and his family who are also regular users of the facilities.
His day-job is an energy market and management consultant and he uses this knowledge to look after the utilities side of the Leisure Centre operations and to provide strategic direction.
Nick has been part a leisure centre Trustee since its start in 2007. He looks after the financial planning for the centre, being a qualified accountant and in the past, was one of the key board decision makers in creating the Great Western Hospital. He is a keen regular user of the leisure centre, playing for the local badminton club, and attempting to keep fit in the gym when he can.
His children and grand children are now regular users, hence his continuing commitment and passion to ensuring the centre remains open and active.
When not keeping fit, Nick still works as a management consultant, in healthcare, and travels the world improving cancer care delivery in low to middle income countries. to edit.
